Time to bring back Community Television
I came to the Cowichan Valley in 1986. At that time, there was Community Television happening. A lot of people volunteered their time. It was later sold to Shaw.
I retired in 2003 and moved to a smaller island up the coast. In 2016, I returned to live in Duncan. The Community Television had shut down. That is unfortunate as it has a lot of value. It can connect people and bring locals “into the moment”.
Think about it, talk to your friends about it. Maybe there is a way to bring it back.
