McAdam Park not the place for more sporting venues

My two cents on McAdam Park:

I live next to it, and I love it just the way it is, as many other people do. I so agree with Mr. Dangerfield and the Holmeses, last week’s interventions.

Right now, seniors, moms, dads, kids, dogs, eagles, herons, small birds, enjoy the trees and the river. This is a natural, peaceful, serene environment where you can on some days just sit, relax and listen to nature and silence. Picnic tables and a little more lighting are that is needed.

All other suggested sporting venues should be hearded to to Chesterfield, a sporting complex. Does the planning manager actually know the river? Right now it is running fast, no place for a kayaker; in the summer, it’s dry, you can walk across it. Who will be paying and maintaining this la-la-land?

Stop messing with Mother Nature because once it is gone, it is not coming back.
