Thank you to those who stopped and helped after fall
Last Tuesday afternoon I had a bad fall on a city sidewalk.
Luckily for me two boys (young men) had just walked by me. They rushed back and one phoned 911 and the other watched to make sure I was OK. Also a lady stopped her car and came over to see if she could help.
I wasn’t in a position to move and was bleeding a lot! A few minutes later the ambulance came and took me to the ER. I was told later the boys left after the ambulance came; by that time a few more people had come.
The reason I’m telling you all this is that no one got the boys’ names and I want to publicly thank them and the others for their help and to inform all your readers that there are good people willing to go out of their way to help others.
Thank you for reading this and hopefully you’ll be able to print something about this. By the way I am 88 past and this was my first time in two years being out on my own.
