Bypass would be costly, destructive
There are so many ways to solve the Duncan corridor traffic issue.
I won’t list them here because until the love for fossil fuel ceases to be the dominant emotion among conservative politicians, few will listen to alternative ideas in this time-worn debate; a debate dominated by the loud lackeys of the fossil fuel industry.
All or most common sense, forward-looking solutions would cost far less and be much less destructive of the rural landscape than Mr. Bruce’s preferred “bypass”. (Should I say his “reality bypass”?) Once again Mr. Bruce shows his true character as an establishment politician, looking for approval from his right-wing Liberal Party supporters. Does he ever consider his own descendants’ survival into the future?
