Environmentalists have heads stuck in sand
In a letter Rebecca Hazell suggests, “Let’s move forward, not go back” in order to make the planet greener. Good idea, but in her case I say she sounds like most environmentalists with their heads stuck in the sand.
Why, you say, just stop logging trees and above all do away with using fossil fuel. Stop flying airplanes and driving cars? Other than that does she have any idea the amount of products made from fossil fuel? Stop cutting trees? No more lumber? My God, what would we build our houses out of, mud?
In this case, words are cheap, but hey, maybe I’m wrong! Perhaps she could write another letter with recommendations to government how they should go about such a task. I’m sure they would like to know, as I would.
