Grill, Shirley Elizabeth (nee Wylie)
Born June 21, 1939 in Minnedosa, Manitoba, died peacefully in Chemainus, BC on August 13, 2010 at Chemainus Health Care Center.
Predeceased by her parents Ernie (1974) and Mary Wylie (1989), and her daughter Shannon Marie (2008). She is survived by her two daughters, Karen (Neil) Merrick and Kathy (Fred) Neuffer both of Lake Cowichan. She also leaves behind her grandson Stephen Merrick, his wife Erika, and their son Gavin, as well as her two granddaughters Andrea Merrick and Karlene Neuffer. Also mourning her passing is her only brother David, his wife Agnes, and their daughter Meaghan from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
We would like to thank the compassionate nursing staff at CHH - Ocean Point, you made the preceding days most bearable with your gentle caring ways, we are deeply grateful.
Service to be held in Lake Cowichan, BC at Beaver Road Baptist Church on Thursday August 19, 2010 at 11am. Shirley is "Forever safely in the arms of Jesus".
