Born May 31, 1920 in Manitoba and passed away peacefully at Cowichan Lodge on January 25, 2007 with her family by her side. Olive is survived by her son Ron (Arlene) and daughter Lynn (Bill); grandchildren Terry (Carol), Rob, Jennifer (Cory), and Michealla (Steve); great-grandchildren Megan, Bryce, Trevor, and Camrym. Olive was a member of Eastern Star in Lake Cowichan and Duncan. She played piano at the OAP in Duncan and played in a dance band with her late husband Jack.
