In loving memory of Joanne Catherine Chance (nee Doherty).She was born May 29th, 1957, in Duncan, BC. Joanne was called home suddenly on the morning of November 30th, 2006. She is survived by her children Randy, Lucas, and Ashly, along with her daughter-in-laws Melisa and Amber; her grandchildren Faythe and Alexander; father John Doherty; siblings Chris, Joe, Terry, Sharon, Josiphine, and Sean. Our mother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, mentor, and honourary Newfy was loved by all and will be missed by everyone. Viewing and prayers will be held at Sands Funeral home at 7:00 p.m. on Dec. 6th, 2006. The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday Dec. 7th at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic church in Lake Cowichan B.C. with a reception then grave side service following.
