Predeceased by mother Molly; brother Bill and son Gerry. He leaves to mourn, his loving and devoted wife May, sister Jean Markell, brother Bud Sismey, daughter Barb (Tom) Irwin, sons Al (Gladys) Sismey and Don Sismey; stepchildren Glenn Borgens (Barenda), Rick (Flo) Borgens, Dave (Mary) Borgens. Grandchildren Heather and Suzanne Stewart, Tanya (Greg) Castillo, Trent (Jenn) Sismey and Alison (Jon) Ragatz; step-grandchildren Jon and Elyse Borgens, Matt and Stephanie Borgens, Rio and Remy Borgens. Howard (Poppa) will be missed for his sense of humour and teasing manner. No service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice House of Penticton.
