Art Neiser passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Victoria General Hospital.
Art was predeceased by his wife Lorraine and leaves behind his son Jim, daughter Janice (Doug), granddaughters Jennifer (Rui), Danielle (Shawn) and great grand-daughter and apple of his eye, Morgan.
Art was born in Brokenhead, Manitoba and was a long time resident of Lake Cowichan. He worked many years in the logging industry and opened Neiser Sales & Service in 1980.
Art loved hunting and fishing, making sausage and going up to the “Neiser Retreat” in the Chilcotin. He enjoyed time with friends and family, watching the river go by and his afternoon visits with “Morgie”. He will be sadly and dearly missed by many people.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1st, 2009 at the Lake Cowichan Community Hall with a gathering to follow.
