West Shore RCMP look for man wanted on Island-wide offences

Mizak is wanted for offences including mischief, forcible confinement, uttering threats

West Shore RCMP is seeking the public’s help locating a man wanted on warrants for offences including forcible confinement and aggravated assault.

Warrants were issued for Jarod Mizak who is wanted for offences in various jurisdictions across Vancouver Island, West Shore RCMP said in a news release. Specific communities are not identified.

Police say Mizak is wanted for mischief, breach, forcible confinement, uttering threats, obstructing a police officer, prohibited driving and failing to appear.

Mizak, 33, is described as 6’ and about 225 pounds with blue eyes, a bald head and reddish brown facial hair.

RCMP ask that anyone who sees him or knows where Mizak is, not approach him but call local police, West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
