A large dock belonging to Brentwood College that was stolen on March 15 has been located.

The dock was at the Bamberton industrial park on the Saanich Inlet where it was being repaired when thieves towed it away.

The dock is described as 42-feet long and eight-feet wide with a wood top and sealed metal floats.

Ian McPherson, the college’s communications director, said the dock was found on April 15 in Todd Inlet and has been returned to campus.

“We are happy as our regatta is coming up on the weekend of April 26-28,” he said.

“It looks like there was no significant damage as it has already been put in place with the other docks.”
