Authorities recover stolen dump truck from RCMP report

  • Nov. 8, 2011 7:00 a.m.

Lake Cowichan RCMP made a routine stop on a dump truck at 2:40 a.m. in the Skutz Falls area on October 30.

The driver’s suspicious behavior led the peace officer to determine the dump truck had been stolen from a construction company.

The three Lake Cowichan youths involved were arrested without incident and were turned over to their parents.

It is not clear whether they will be charged, as the investigation of the incident is still underway.
