This is a Christmas special like you’ve never seen before.

The Mercury Players production of Nuncrackers provides goofy, ridiculous, and truly hilarious family fun to get you in a holiday mood.

Yes, those crazy sisters from Nunsense are back, and they’re filming a TV Christmas show. Yes, that’s right. They’re performing live, while the cameras are rolling, and you get to be the studio audience.

The show is light and lively in parts, sweet and thoughtful in others, and overall is just great entertainment.

A whole crowd of people have put their backs into making this event and it received roaring applause last week.

They’re back on stage again Nov. 24, 25, and 26 but if you haven’t got your tickets yet, run, don’t walk to Ten Old Books or First Chiropractic or call 250-746-6897. Last Friday, when we were there, it was packed to the doors. Also, if you need to park near the theatre, arrive early to secure a place.
