Show & Shine is back this weekend

Check out the beautifully restored cars at this popular event

The Beverly Corners Show & Shine is just around the corner.

On Aug. 18 in Duncan at the Cowichan Sportsplex, you can take a look at up to 300 cars that will gather for the event. Admission to the show is by cash or food donation. All funds raised, after expenses are donated to local groups. Past recipients include Cops for Cancer, the Cowichan Food Bank, Nourish Cowichan Society, Cowichan Hospice, and Cowichan Sportsplex.

The show is presented by Canadian Tire and hosted by Cowichan Cruisers.

On the evening of Aug. 17 there will also be a Rod Run, hosted by Cobble Hill Country Grocer, with barbecue smokies free to cruise participants.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m., with cars departing the side parking lot at Cobble Hill Country Grocer at 6:30 p.m.
