Duncan’s Celtic Rhythm Dancers return to the big stage
Celtic Rhythms dancers Sloane Anderson, Waylon McArthur, Abigail Tweten, Isabelle Tweten and Rooney Wright perform while 99-year-old Cowichan Valley Air Force veteran George Brewster reads Robert Burns’s poem ‘Daisies.’ Adele Bartfai, Ryder Brown, Halle Dow, Cassidy Hill, Ella Czettisch, Madison Savory, Katelynn Smith and Lily Wolden perform ‘We Will Rock You.’ Special guest performer Jillian Peacock performs during Celtic Rhythms’ ‘A Hint of Scottish Tradition’ show. Dancers from a group including Danaya Brown, Ryder Brown, Krista Brown, Katelyn Knight, Kennedy Plumb, Camellia Propp, Breanne Smith, Tasia Terpstra, Morgan Wolden, Austyn Woodward and Cardin Benham are joined by piper Peter Leckie for a performance of ‘Fight Song.’
Judy Hogg’s Celtic Rhythms Dancers returned to the big stage at the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre on June 5 to present ‘A Hint of Scottish Tradition,” their first spring show in three years.
The show featured 23 acts made up of dancers of all ages. An intermission set included a dancer from Ontario, Isla Charlebois, joining her class on Zoom for a performance in the theatre lobby.
