Duncan Lions Club members were busy out at Providence Farm, both having funded and actively participating in, installing an irrigation system in the kitchen garden area of the farm where the Segue Club work.

An excavator was used for digging trenches on Saturday, Nov. 2 and then the club was there on Sunday laying pipe, gluing fittings together, and helping to install the new system.

The group is working with a variety of generous suppliers on this job, which aims to provide regularly scheduled watering for this particular garden, which provides the veggies for the Providence Farm kitchen, joining the Segue Club in this task.
