What is being done about community centre funding?

It would be nice to hear from the members of the Island Savings Centre Commission, if anything else came up during the March 14 meeting.
I am glad to see, that due to the lack of a sponsor being found to foot the bills, that we have returned to the Cowichan Community Centre. More importantly to me, would be answers to questions I had asked previously. When can I expect to hear that the funding issue is being addressed in a permanent way? Has it made its way to a budget line in the CVRD? If not what does the community need to do to ensure this facility has permanent stable funding? The purpose of the Commission and its related financial cost. Against eight years of knowing a sponsor would be needed and unable to find a partner with deep pockets, is the Commission fulfilling its purpose? Or at least a brief explanation of other duties that it fulfills. Thanks for the update.
