Shame on you for lack of civility

Well, my faith in the younger generation just dropped a few notches.

A friend and her two grandsons were shopping in Wal-Mart. While standing in the checkout line her seven-year-old went out into the shopping isle and picked up two $50 bills from the ground and took them to his grandma. Someone else in the line said she thought it belonged to the lady over there pushing a stroller. The grandma took the little boy over to the lady to return the money that she had dropped (it was hers because she confirmed what it was she had dropped).

The little boy gave it to her and with not even a thank you from the lady who was on her cell phone the whole time and did not take it from her ear.

Some people nowadays are so ungrateful and wrapped up in themselves they cannot take the time to thank a little boy for doing a good deed! How do we continue to teach our young children when they find something that does not belong to them to at least try to return it, and then get no thanks.

For the person that dropped this money, shame on you!
