Planet may recover, but without us

“Life is the sum of all your choices,” Albert Camus. By extension life or death is the sum of the choices of humanity.

Science can only measure and project. If instant gratification is the human choice, sacrifices to ensure our survival will not be what we choose, to the peril of the environment. Endless growth on a finite planet is untenable.

In the greater context of time the planet may recover, but without us.
