NDP historically opposed to infrastructure projects in B.C.

Remember when the B.C. NDP were in total opposition to the completion of the Site C dam project?

As of March 2019, there were 3,674 persons employed on this project. Two thousand, eigh hundred and ninety-four were from B.C. which is 79 per cent of the total workforce. Seven hundred and eighty persons were from the area of the Peace River Regional District. There are 333 indigenous persons on the job along with 400 women. Average hourly wage of all job classifications is $30.22 per hour for a gross pay of $5,318 per month. Excellent long term wages for a project that will be completed in 2024.

Also remember that the B.C. NDP were in total opposition to the construction of B.C. Place, Sky Train, Expo 86, Vancouver Convention Centre, Sea to Sky highway, Port Mann bridge, and the South Fraser perimeter road. All of these infrastructure projects created excellent paying jobs for the residents of B.C. Unbelievable!
