N. Cowichan just after a quick buck
The picture you have on page 5 of the Citizen [Dec. 14] shows, a perfect example of private logging practices, in other words clear cutting rather than select logging, that has been shown to be more beneficial over the long haul for all concerned.
It looks as though North Cowichan is more concerned with a quick buck rather than esthetics of what is beneficial for all residents, animals and fauna included.
By the way, are there plans in hand to re-seed what has been cleared?
