More info needed on little known organizations

Thank you Diane Moen for your most informative letter exposing the existence of Transition Network, and especially their possible connection to One Cowichan (Communism creeping into Cowichan). Also, a follow up letter on the subject by Perry Foster (Letter on Communism raises good questions). Both these letters should serve as a caution that some sort of possible activism is operating in our community that should be exposed.

I’m not so sure that we need to fear the threat of communism so much as we should the possible “threat” of little known organizations, such as Transition Network and One Cowichan and their agenda. I have concerns these organizations might have been formed by the same people, with the same members, with the same agenda for the only purpose of making it appear they are many in numbers, simply to put pressure on the CVRD to do their bidding at the cost to taxpayers.

It’s time for these organizations to “come clean” by “opening their books”, so we, the public, can “follow their money trail” and see for ourselves what they are truly all about.
