I would like share my appreciation of the Town of Lake Cowichan crew for acting quickly to remove the jammed-in wharf under the footbridge between the Duck Pond and Ohtaki Park.
I brought it to the town’s attention and a few days later there was a machine working on the river to remove the wharf and the jammed logs as they were a safety hazard for swimmers, boaters and tubers on the river.
