Why is aquamation not legal in B.C.?

Kudos to Gail Mitchell for shining a light on this issue. I’ve been a “greenie” for six decades and want to die being one in the province where I was born. Why is this legal in Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories and and not in B.C.?
