Letter: Thanks to all who helped after fall

Paramedics checked me out and convinced me I really did need to go to the hospital

Thanks to all who helped after fall

I want to thank all the kind people who came to my aid after I tripped and fell in Timbercrest. Some found me a place to sit, others brought me a warm blanked to help stave off shock and someone called an ambulance.

Paramedics checked me out and convinced me I really did need to go to the hospital. The ER was extremely busy. All the frontline workers were caring, compassionate and competent. After many tests the doctor cleaned my cut, glued me up and said I was good to go.

Somehow, thank you doesn’t seem enough. Bless you all! How wonderful to live in the Cowichan Valley.
