Take cost of living increase or get out
I am really disgusted with the request by Valley Regional Director Ian Morrison that a three per cent cost of living [increase] is not sufficient and is looking for a further salary increase. There will be an approx. 12.19 per cent tax hike this year. Seniors on fixed incomes don’t get any hikes, yet we are impacted by all tax hikes, and increases. We have to stop buying fresh vegetables as we can’t afford them. We have to live with this and rise to the occasion.
If Ian Morrison is not satisfied with his salary, how about he resign and let someone else apply for his job who would be overjoyed with his salary. Stop complaining and live with the three per cent cost of living [increase] or move on.
