Surely we can do better by this world
The last day of COP27, despite overtime, has come and gone, once again with little or no accomplishment: a breakdown in trust was cited.
There are now eight billion of us to contribute to climate change and to devour the dwindling resources of this finite planet.
The deforestation of Canada continues as we supply the world with raw logs by the shipload.
“Forests precede civilization, deserts follow.”
Surely we can do better than this, or is it already too late to change?
Such is the world we leave to our offspring.
