Public consultation on Laketown Ranch proposal inadequate

I can’t believe that Klaus Kuhn thinks that a couple of Zoom meetings held at some obscure times during the week constitutes “public consultation” when it comes to the development proposal at the Laketown Ranch.

The majority of the citizens at the lake (seniors) are happy they can figure out how to access their grandchildren’s photos and emails; trying to navigate a Zoom meeting is beyond the capability of most people of any age, but this is obviously the plan, less negative input.

So there is a proposal for 122 year-round RV sites, (trailer court), as well as 182 manufacturered homes (trailer court without the wheels), and 50 year-round “cabins”. If you look up the meaning of cabin, these will be as far from cabins as you can get! As well as an industrial area.

This is the problem with the developers of the day, they don’t give a crap about the people who have been in the area for many, many decades. They come in and stuff as much of the cheapest housing to acquire maximum profits as they can and be damned with the true locals.

When Klaus queries as to how far he has to bend over to accommodate this boondoggle, if he hasn’t figured it out yet, he will!
