Perhaps a green burial site in the municipal forest?
It was very encouraging to attend the open house hosted by the Municipality of North Cowichan regarding green burial sites in particular and other alternatives. Many people attended and expressed interest and concerns on the possibilities.
I have been looking into green burials for awhile now and I want to be buried as I have lived: making choices to make this world a bit better…..
Just wondering if a dedicated section of the municipal forest reserve might work very well. For any of us who have enjoyed walking in amongst our tall friends, perhaps this would be a very sweet place to rest in peace.
Green burial sites are becoming more desirable and solutions are being created.
