People should fill up at cheaper stations

Jan. 20 at 1:30 p.m. Upon checking the gas buddy website, I conclude that gas pricing is a scam. Why?

At the Petro Canada station on Lakes Road and the Petro Canada station on Government Street have gas prices at $164.9. The Esso station on York Road has gas prices at $162.9 and the Canco station on Lake Cowichan Road has gas prices at $163.9. All other stations have gas prices at $174.9.

This proves that the stations with pricing at $174.9 do not need these prices or on the other hand, are the stations with lower pricing, actually losing money because they have to purchase the gas from the refinery. Wholesale prices are confidential so cannot confirm if the lower priced stations are losing money.

In summary, people constantly complain about the price of gas, and yet do not go and fill up at these stations with lower gas prices. These people need to have their heads examined big time.

Unbelievable!
