Payments to doctors should begin immediately
The B.C. minister of health, Adrian Dix has announced additional stabilization payments to B.C. doctors that work in family practice clinics. Dix says, “This provides a more equitable payment for the work of family doctors and better recognizes their value in providing full service primary care to patients.”
The announcement is a win-win situation for both doctors and patients.
The ironic thing about the announcement is that the extra stabilization payments do not take effect until February of 2023.
How absurb. The payments should begin immediately. Unbelievable!
