Not moving fast enough on climate change
I am a resident of Salt Spring Island for the last 20 years. I have witnessed the pressures that a growing population have put on our island and province. I am very concerned for the future as I do not see strong environmental protection and conservation. We are losing sight of what are the most important things in life. Our health, freedom of thought and speech, spiritual health. Change is long overdue; we need to respect and care for our planet. We are not changing fast enough. We need aggressive action to stop the growing threat of climate change. Set goals and adhere to them.
Please make climate change a priority in your job and life.
