Do not throw away rail asset
With regard to Mr. Peake’s letter of March 16, we would like to compliment him on his opinions. We totally agree with everything he said and wish to add a few additional thoughts.
If there ever was a time to be patient, it is now! Once that rail corridor is gone to developers — and it will be — it’s gone forever! The economic value of renewing this resource will far outweigh the cost of revival! Do not throw away this invaluable asset!
At our age, we have definitely seen it all before!
