Cup holders not appreciated at theatre

1. My wife and I went to enjoy “The Guitars” last week. We were dismayed to see that some without doubt well meaning administrator had decided that new seats were required [at the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre], and had spent mega tax dollars on cup holders.

The result was a more cramped seating than usual, which made the armrests completely useless. The cup holders dug into our arms.

2. I am quite able to spend two hours without absolutely have to consume alcohol.

3. Furthermore the wine was served in plastic cups. Not a classy touch indeed.

4. I suggest that any further improvements are overseen by a more competent person.
