You have got to be kidding!
I am trying to decide whether to be amazed or disgusted at the CVRD Waste Management cost estimate to reopen the free store at the depots.
Is it a blatant backdoor attempt to increase their budget allocation, or just a sneaky way to say we do not want to be bothered?
People bringing stuff to the free store put it in there. People “buying” stuff from the store load it and take it away. Yes, depot staff will need to tidy the store area periodically, as unfortunately some people will make a mess. This does not justify a staff increase.
