Assessments out of line with Duncan problems
As most of us, I first thought when I saw the huge jump in my property assessment, it is just another tax grab to help our socialist run province to pay off its unsustainable debts, but then I had a second thought the other day. How is it that on my small 900 square foot home could the assessment jump $101,000 in a year? What has Duncan done to improve the town? And don’t give me this foreign money BS.
Well let’s see, we are about to have a third “homeless” camp which isn’t really for the true homeless in the area but for addicts that have moved here in droves do to the free clean drugs now being supplied at taxpayers’ expense! The RCMP barely lifts a finger to curb the criminal junkies in the Valley, yet they are going to build a new cop shop why? There are a few real homeless people in this area that absolutely refuse to live in these so-called homeless camps as they fear for their safety.
It is time we stand up to this useless mayor and council and vote them out in the next election cycle. I never really thought about getting into politics but I’m sure thinking about it the next go around as I’m pretty sure I have more common sense then all of them put together.
Before long there will be a new TV show being filmed here called Million Dollar Listings Cowichan Valley!
