Government prioritizes revenue over health
Presently we are in a global pandemic with COVID. Here in B.C., government revenue is No. 1 in importance and our health is No. 2. Why? B.C. medical health officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, says to avoid all non essential travel because of COVID. B.C. Ferries on the other hand adds additional sailings on holiday weekends. For example, hourly sailings between Victoria and Vancouver. This proves that bringing in government revenue is the most important factor during our COVID pandemic.
