Duplication a colossal waste of money

You campaigned hard against amalgamation — some suggest you have served the Valley well, time will tell.
For over seven years, with benefits and salaries, Duncan taxpayers paid Tom Ireland hundreds of thousands of dollars. Do some feel this is a colossal waste of taxpayers’ money, considering the Valley paid another CAO a block away at the CVRD office and a third CAO jsut minutes up the road at the MNC, often to perform essentially the same job? I would expect so.
Enjoy your pensions and enjoy your retirement, while the majority of our Valley works to pay enough taxes to continue funding duplication.
