Drink wine and smoke dope as we starve
I think people are making a huge mistake by assuming that grape growing in the Valley is agriculture.
This is NOT food that is being grown but grapes for wine.
As more of the crop land is turned over to grapes (and marijuana) we will still have to source our food from elsewhere like California or further.
We are getting dangerously less self sufficient in food production.
But I guess thats ok because we can always drink wine and smoke dope while we starve.
Very short term thinking.
