Council discourages visitors from coming to town

Editor: So the council vote on camping at Centennial Ball Park was automatically defeated even though it was a tie vote with the 5th person not being in attendance to break the tie.

To discourage tourist/sports groups from coming into town is definitely not  in the best interests of the greater majority of businesses in Town.  Just what we need is more boarded up store fronts on main street.

Council members are here to serve in the best interests of the community as a whole and deal with  problems as they come up.  If this council, previous councils or the RCMP have records re: problems with the Victoria Motorcycle Club over the past 40 years then we would like to know what they are so they can be addressed.
