Sawkins, William Robert died on February 20,2009, in the Menno Home in Abbotsford, BC. He would have been 95 on March 12.
Bill is survived by Bernice, his loving wife, to whom he was married to for 72 years. He leaves, also, his children; Philip (Maureen), Sharon (Dale), Kenneth and Wayne (Renita); seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
His memorial service was held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 2, 2009 in the chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 27555 - 31 Ave., Aldergrove, BC. Rev. Ken Dean officiated. Special thanks to MSA Manor and Menno Home for the excellent care that Bill received.
