Born in Regina Saskatchewan January 31, 1932 passed away suddenly at Lake Cowichan, May 05, 2005 at the age of 73 years. Walt was a long time resident of Lake Cowichan. He will be missed dearly by his daughters Susan (Carsten), Eva (John), and Charlette (Garry), granddaughters Kristy, Michelle, Karli, Jorden and Grace, and his brother Burt (Vera). Walt also leaves behind his children Bill, Leah, David and their families. He will also be missed by his faithful companion Mac and his many friends. Walt will be remembered for his ability to repair or build almost anything, his love for the
outdoors and his ability to make you blush. There will be a service of remembrance honouring Walter held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 375 Brae Road, Duncan on Tuesday May 17 at 10:00 am, followed by a reception. If wishing, Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
