September 14, 1912 – February 17, 2009
Trevor passed away peacefully in the early morning of February 17th at Chemainus Health Care Centre, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his wife Yvonne and brother Brian. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Kathy, son Tony and their families: Kathy’s husband Hal, their children Gaelen and Bronwen, Gaelen’s wife Susi and their son Owen; Tony’s daughter Jennal and his partner Curtis.
Trevor was born in Victoria and lived his life at Greendale, the family home in Lake Cowichan, his parents Francis Green and Louise Spencer were pioneers who homesteaded the property on the river.
Trevor loved nature and was never happier than outside in nature. His work at Mesachie Forest Station was a source of great joy and fulfillment.
His kindness was known by all. He cheerfully helped anyone in need, and his service to the community was commendable.
No flowers please, donations to the Sierra Club would be a fitting way to remember Trevor.
