Lake Cowichan faller, Thomas Miller passed away peacefully April 22, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by both his parents and siblings Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marjorie and four children. Brad & Jody Miller, Jim Miller, Shauna & Glen Grunert and Patricia & David Drake, as well as fifteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom’s love and knowledge of hunting and fishing, and his ability to spin a good tale will be sadly missed by his many friends who affectionately called him “Timber” The family wishes to thank the Palliative nursing staff at Cowichan District Hospital for such excellent care. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A memorial service is planned for Wednesday April 27, at 2:00 p.m. 375 Brae Rd., Duncan, First Memorial Funeral Chapel.
