In loving memory of our dear Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother. Born in Sweden, she came to Canada in 1948 with her husband and family. After a long and happy life, she passed away peacefully with family by her side at age 98. Predeceased by her husband Nils, and her son Oke, she is survived by her son Nils (Lexi), daughter Elvy (Bill), daughter Jo-Ann (Alfonso), daughter-in-law Edna Olsson, and many grandchildren.
Mom’s life was devoted to her family and her home, which was always open to all who wanted a good cup of coffee and homemade baking. She will certainly be remembered by the many lonely Swedes who found a home away from home in her kitchen.
We’re grateful that when she finally had to move to Cairnsmore, the wonderful staff there really helped make it a home for her.
A private service was held for her on March 12.
