Shannon Marie Grill of Youbou, BC, died suddenly March 30, 2008.
Born September 12, 1959, predeceased by her father Neil Grill in 2005, she is survived by her mother Shirley of Lake Cowichan, BC, her sister Karen and brother-in-law Neil Merrick of Chemainus, BC and sister Kathy and brother-in-law Fred Neuffer of Lake Cowichan, BC. She leaves behind her nephew Stephen Merrick (Erika) and son Gavin, and nieces Andrea Merrick and Karlene Neuffer.
Left to mourn also are Lorne and Carole Pittman and their families, of Kelowna, BC, who were her special Aunt and Uncle throughout her life.
Shannon’s faith in the Lord remained a constant throughout her short life, and we are comforted knowing that she is safely home in the arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus.
A memorial service is to be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Cowichan Lake Baptist Church on Beaver Road in Lake Cowichan, BC. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Shannon’s memory to either of her two special groups, the Gideons, for worldwide distribution of Bibles, or the Cowichan Lake Baptist Church building restoration fund.
