Rose was born in Vienna, Austria. She resided in Lake Cowichan for 48 years. Rose was an avid gardener and for many years had a home grown nursery. She had a way of touching everyone who met her. Rose is survived by her loving, caring husband Kurt, son Harry, daughter Eva and her granddaughters Christin and Stephanie who she treasured in her heart. She will sadly be missed by her many friends. Her family would like to thank all her friends for their kindness given to her. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the trust fund at the Royal Bank, Lake Cowichan Branch, towards a town bench in her honor.
