Glen was born in 1957 in Vernon, B.C., and lived there until he was 29 years old. He then moved to Victoria on Vancouver Island in 1986 to do a BA in Psychology at UVIC, and met his wife Sophie in 1987. In 1991, they got married and moved to Duncan, and in 1995 they moved to Lake Cowichan. They raised their two daughters, Marina and Maeve, in Lake Cowichan. Glen resided in Lake Cowichan since 1995 and was surrounded by very special friends he made there.
Glen was a mechanic by trade and really enjoyed working on old trucks and machines, happy to explore new challenges. Glen was a loyal friend, and a loving person to the people he respected in his life. He was known for his kindness and generosity.
He died of lung cancer on October 15th, 2019, and will be greatly missed by his wife Sophie, and daughters; Marina and Maeve, as well as by his closest friends and family members who are in BC and Quebec. A Celebration of Life will take place in Vernon, B.C.
