Born in Brighton, England on March 8, 1920, passed away at Lake Cowichan, B.C. on January 2, 2007.
She was predeceased by her son Vernon Sandberg. She is survived by her son David Charney (Marlyn,) daughter-in-law Dawn Sandberg, grandchildren Peter & Chris, Erin & Kristen, and four great grandchildren, Kyllie & Daniel, David & Ruby.
Peggy emigrated to Canada as a War Bride in 1946. She was a long time Eaton's employee in the lower mainland and made many friends and acquaintances while working there. She was much loved and will be greatly missed by her family.
Special thanks to the staff at Nana's House for their care and kindness to Peggy and to her buddy Krysten who always made her smile. We would also like to thank Dr. Kerswell and the Community Care nurses for seeing to her comfort. Family remembrance to be held at a later date in Surrey, B.C.
